Climate: France has three types of climate. Along the Mediterranean coast, summers are hot and winters
are mild. The climate of western France, influenced by Atlantic winds, has cool summers and mild winters with plenty of rainfall.
As you travel frather east - away from the ocean - winters are colder, summers warmer, and there is less rain.
